T-1 Endoskeleton
The first generation of Terminator robots: part tank, part robot.
The T-1 is the earliest Terminator model, briefly featured in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. In that film's timeline Terminators were created by Cyber Research Systems, starting with the T-1. Director Jonathan Mostow described it as a primitive but deadly robotic machine that is part tank, part robot.
Lore & Background
The T-1 appears in the CRS facility near the end of the film, where the T-X takes control of weaponized T-1 and HK drones to kill the employees. Stan Winston designed the T-1, and his studio created five full-sized, functioning T-1 robots, each one controlled by hydraulics.
