Jesse Flores
An Australian Resistance submarine officer who came back to pull John Connor away from Cameron.
Jesse Flores, portrayed by Stephanie Jacobsen, is an Australian Human Resistance sailor with the rank of commander and Derek Reese's love interest in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. She is introduced in the episode "The Tower Is Tall But the Fall Is Short".
Lore & Background
In the future she serves as executive officer aboard the nuclear submarine USS Jimmy Carter, which is captained by a reprogrammed Terminator. She travels to the present on a mission to find Cameron and stop her from adversely influencing young John; in the future Jesse comes from, John has withdrawn from humans and speaks only with Cameron. To get close to John she recruits Riley Dawson from the future.
Reader's Guide
In the episode "Ourselves Alone", Riley turns on Jesse, and in the struggle Jesse shoots and kills her. When John finds out, he confronts Jesse and then lets her go. Derek then attempts to shoot Jesse, but it is not shown whether she gets away or is killed; she does not appear again in the series.
