In Terminator Salvation, John Connor confronts General Ashdown and the Resistance commanders at the Resistance headquarters, a command submarine; Skynet later uses a hidden signal to track down and destroy it, killing Resistance Command. Marcus Wright and Blair Williams make their way to John's own base, where a magnetic land mine wounds Marcus. In Terminator 3, John and Kate survive Judgment Day in Crystal Peak, a hardened fallout shelter built inside the Sierra Nevada mountains.
