John Connor Resistance Command

The command of the human resistance that John Connor comes to lead.

In the Terminator franchise, John Connor leads the human resistance against Skynet's machines and ultimately leads it to victory. In Terminator Salvation, set in 2018, the Resistance is still led by General Ashdown and a Resistance Command based in a submarine headquarters.

Lore & Background

In Terminator Salvation, Skynet creates a signal supposedly capable of deactivating its machines and leaks its existence to the Resistance. General Ashdown tries to use the signal to shut down the defenses of the Californian Skynet base before an attack, but the signal instead allows an HK to track down the submarine headquarters and destroy it, killing Resistance Command. The other branches of the Resistance had heard and obeyed Connor's plea to stand down, so only a small part of the Resistance was lost to the trap. It is believed that Ashdown's death allowed Connor to assume total command of the Resistance.
