The Hunter-Killer tank (HK-Tank) is one of the machines Skynet fields in its war against the human resistance in the Terminator franchise. HK-Tanks, Mototerminators and various Terminator models patrol cities and roads, while airborne units such as HK-Aerials survey the skies.

Lore & Background
In the video game Terminator: Resistance, the character Ferro is killed while destroying an HK Tank during a mass break-out at a work camp. In the video game Terminator Salvation, John Connor reprograms a Hunter-Killer tank and sets it to go straight to Skynet, and a team of resistance fighters is given a mission to call airstrikes on a Hunter-Killer tank in order to destroy it and recover its remains for research.
