Sarah Connor

Sarah Connor is the female protagonist of the Terminator franchise, played by Linda Hamilton in The Terminator (1984), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Terminator Salvation (voice only) and Terminator: Dark Fate (2019). Emilia Clarke plays her in Terminator Genisys and Lena Headey in the TV series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Lore & Background
Over the films she changes from a timid victim into a fugitive who commits acts of terrorism, a hardened fighter and a mother who gives up everything for her son John's future. In the first film she is a Los Angeles college student and waitress hunted by a Terminator; Kyle Reese, sent back by John, protects her and tells her she must train John to fight Skynet. The two fall in love and John is conceived; Reese dies fighting the Terminator, and Sarah crushes it in a hydraulic press. Pregnant and on the run, she begins recording tapes for John. In Genisys she grows up raised by a Terminator, and in Dark Fate she hunts rogue Terminators after her son's death.
