Quirk: Erasure

Lore & Background

His Quirk, Erasure, nullifies another person's Quirk within his line of vision until he blinks, and using it strains his eyes. In the physical test he holds on the first day he threatens to expel the worst-ranked student; his high expulsion rate exists only on paper, because he re-enrolls the students he expels. Oboro Shirakumo, a high school classmate and close friend of Aizawa and Present Mic, died years ago in a villain attack; his corpse was made into the Nomu Kurogiri. During the Jaku Hospital Raid, Shigaraki throws one of Overhaul's Quirk-destroying bullets into Aizawa's right leg, and he amputates the leg on the spot to keep his Quirk.
