Yuga Aoyama

A shining star whose light was once used to cast the darkest shadow of all.

Yuga Aoyama is a student in U.A. High School's Class 1-A. He was born in France, which makes him the only Class 1-A student born outside Japan, and his Quirk, Navel Laser, fires a laser blast from his belly button. He is later revealed to be All For One's spy inside U.A.: born Quirkless, he received his Quirk through a deal his parents made with All For One and served him out of fear for their safety.

Yuga Aoyama was born Quirkless. Because his parents did not want him to feel ostracised, they made a deal with All For One, who gave him the Navel Laser Quirk; the family was then held in his debt with threats of death, and Yuga became the spy inside U.A. High School. While Class 1-A is getting ready for the last battle with All For One, Toru Hagakure finds out that Aoyama and his parents are the villain's spies. He tearfully confesses, and Izuku and Hagakure apprehend the family; the class, seeing them as All For One's victims, builds a plan around them. Aoyama then tricks All For One into warping the whole Paranormal Liberation Front into the heroes' trap.

Yuga Aoyama is a student in U.A. High School's Class 1-A. His Quirk, Navel Laser, allows him to fire concentrated beams of light from his navel. Overusing Navel Laser gives him stomach pains, which is why he feels a kinship with Izuku. Yuga and his family are pardoned for the help they gave the heroes in the last battle with All For One. He chooses to leave U.A. to atone, promising to return one day; Hitoshi Shinso takes his place in the class.
