Danger Sense

The fourth holder's Quirk: a warning of every threat nearby.

Danger Sense is the Quirk of Hikage Shinomori, the fourth user of One For All in My Hero Academia. It allowed him to detect any potential threat in his surroundings. Shinomori chose to hide from All For One and spend his time training One For All to make it as strong as possible; he died 18 years after inheriting it.

Lore & Background

The Quirk passes to Izuku Midoriya along with One For All. He unlocks it during the Paranormal Liberation War, when a pounding in his head turns out to be the fourth user's power at work. Afterwards Shinomori introduces himself in the vestige world, where the past holders work out that One For All shortens the life of a holder who already has a Quirk.

Reader's Guide

Danger Sense has gaps. On Okuto Island Himiko Toga approaches Izuku without setting it off at all. In the final battle Shigaraki grazes Izuku, breaks into the vestige realm and steals Shinomori and Danger Sense, then turns the Quirk against him.
