Kurogiri

The League of Villains' fog-shrouded second-in-command.

Kurogiri is Tomura Shigaraki's caretaker and the second-in-command of the League of Villains. His Quirk, Warp Gate, produces a dark purple fog from his body that he shapes into long-range portals. Level-headed, polite and well spoken even to his enemies, he steadies Shigaraki's immaturity and is intensely loyal to him and to All For One.

Lore & Background

Kurogiri helps Shigaraki lead the attack on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, where he scatters the students across the facility. Gran Torino later captures him, and he is held in Tartarus. There he is revealed to be a Nomu made from the corpse of Oboro Shirakumo, a high school classmate and close friend of Eraser Head and Present Mic who died years earlier in a villain attack. As a Nomu he obeys only a select few and stays silent when questioned about the League.

Reader's Guide

While Kurogiri is held at Central Hospital, Neito Monoma copies Warp Gate and uses it to split up the villains. Spinner and supporters of the Paranormal Liberation Front raid the hospital and wake him with a device All For One had placed on him. In the Final War arc Kurogiri is killed by Bakugo after Shigaraki's death.
