Power Ring (Sinestro Corps)

Lore & Background

Operating on a frequency that shatters Green Lantern defenses, the yellow light renders traditional blue shields useless unless specific countermeasures are deployed. The bond is a dangerous symbiosis: the ring amplifies the host's capacity for terror while feeding on their own fear to sustain its power. Should a wielder lose their grip on dread or attempt to act without the requisite emotional fuel, the weapon turns inert—or worse, consumes the user from within.

Reader's Guide

Wielding a Sinestro ring demands a razor-sharp balance: you must command fear without letting it consume your mind. If resolve crumbles or an opponent proves immune to terror, the ring's power evaporates instantly. Though typically worn on the finger for immediate deployment, the weapon can detach and act autonomously for brief periods if commanded by a master of its dark logic.
