Justice Society of America
The original champions who proved that heroes could stand together before the world knew their names.
The Justice Society of America stands as the pioneering superhero team in comic book history, predating even the famous Justice League by decades. Formed during the Golden Age of comics, this assembly of legendary heroes operated primarily on Earth-Two (and later integrated into the main continuity) to defend humanity against threats that no single individual could face alone. They represent the foundational ideal of heroism: ordinary people with extraordinary abilities uniting for the greater good.

Background
Born in the crucible of World War II, the Justice Society didn't just fight alongside the All-Star Squadron; they became the soul of that era's resistance against tyranny and dark magic. When the war ended, they didn't simply retire—they vanished from public memory, trapped in a temporal loop or hidden dimension for decades while the world moved on without them. Their modern return is more than a reunion; it's a collision of eras. They emerged not just to confront new cosmic threats, but to shoulder the heavy burden of mentoring a younger generation, proving that their legacy isn't defined by the battles they won in the past, but by the hope they ignite for the future.
