In the Wii version, the Prince is aided by a djinni named Zahra. In the PSP version, the Prince seeks the fire spirit Ahihud and allies with Helem, a spirit of time. In the DS version, the Prince reunites with Razia to reclaim her power and defeat a cult master.

Reader's Guide

In the console and Windows version, the Prince gains elemental powers themed around Water, Earth, Wind, and Fire. Water powers allow freezing water flows to create walls and poles; Earth powers restore destroyed environment elements; Wind and Fire powers are used as offensive combat spells. The Prince also has a limited-use rewind function that resets time if he makes a mistake or takes damage. In the PSP version, the Prince's magical abilities revolve around manipulating the flow of time, allowing the environment to be sped up or slowed down, and rewinds that reverse time if the Prince dies.

In the DS version, the rewind ability is activated through an hourglass icon and can slow down time or revive the player, limited by changes of sand. The mobile version includes a selection of time and elemental abilities drawn from the console game. The web browser version incorporates the rewind and elemental powers.
