Reader's Guide

In the last match Neito Monoma's team, joined by Shinso, faces Izuku Midoriya's team. Monoma tries to provoke Izuku into falling under Shinso's Brainwashing; instead black tendrils burst from Izuku's body and lash out in every direction. Ochaco Uraraka holds on to him until Shinso can subdue him, and inside One For All Izuku learns from Daigoro Banjo that this is the Quirk Blackwhip. Izuku then defeats Shinso while his teammates capture the others. Class 1-A wins the exercise, and Shinso earns a passing grade.
