Hero Internship Arc

One week at a hero agency, and a first taste of the real job.

The Hero Internship Arc of My Hero Academia comes right after the U.A. Sports Festival. The teacher Midnight has the Class 1-A students choose their hero names, and each of them then spends a one-week internship at a Pro Hero's agency. Izuku Midoriya settles on "Deku", the nickname Ochaco Uraraka had given a new meaning; every name Katsuki Bakugo proposes is turned down.

Lore & Background

Izuku interns with Gran Torino, All Might's old mentor, who helps him understand how to channel One For All safely. Ochaco chooses the combat-minded hero Gunhead to widen her fighting skills, Tsuyu Asui works with the marine heroes of the Oki Mariner Crew, Fumikage Tokoyami goes to Hawks, Minoru Mineta to Mt. Lady, and Koji Koda to the hero Wash. Bakugo goes to Best Jeanist, who tries in vain to correct his attitude.
