Dabi

The blue-flamed villain who turns out to be Endeavor's eldest son.

Dabi is a League of Villains member and the archenemy of Shoto Todoroki. His Quirk, Blueflame, is a stronger form of Endeavor's Hellflame, but his body cannot take his own fire for long, which is where his burns and staples come from. He is later revealed to be Toya Todoroki, Endeavor's eldest son, believed dead for years after a training accident.

Lore & Background

Cold, calculating and rarely emotional, Dabi is still careful in a fight: he pulls out when Mirko arrives to help Endeavor and keeps what he tells Hawks about the High-End Nomu to a minimum. He takes Stain as his inspiration and wants to tear down a society of what he sees as false heroes. As a child Toya was eager to learn from his father, but when Endeavor judged his Quirk unable to surpass All Might and turned to his younger brother Shoto, Toya came to hate them both. Once Endeavor becomes the Number One Hero, Dabi exposes the Todoroki family's past to the whole country. In the Final War he fights Shoto, copies Shoto's Phosphor to keep from freezing, and tries to turn his stored body heat into a bomb; his family stops the blast. He ends on life support, with Endeavor promising to visit him every day.
