Shie Hassaikai Raid Arc
Heroes and police go underground to bring out one small girl.
The Shie Hassaikai Raid in My Hero Academia is the assault on the headquarters of the yakuza group led by Overhaul. Sir Nighteye uses his Foresight on one of Overhaul's men to learn where the girl Eri is being held, and the Pro Heroes move in together with the police. The U.A. work-study students go with their agencies: Izuku Midoriya and Mirio Togata with Nighteye, Eijiro Kirishima and Tamaki Amajiki with Fat Gum, Ochaco Uraraka and Tsuyu Asui with Ryukyu.
Lore & Background
Ryukyu's team and most of the heroes hold the yakuza above ground while Nighteye's and Fat Gum's groups go down with Shota Aizawa and the hero Rock Lock. The gang's Joi Irinaka reshapes the basement to split them up. Tamaki holds off three of Overhaul's Eight Bullets alone; Kirishima and Fat Gum beat two more, Kendo Rappa and Hekiji Tengai. Himiko Toga and Twice, lent to Overhaul by the League of Villains, quietly work against him.
Reader's Guide
Mirio reaches Eri first and nearly beats Overhaul before a completed Quirk-destroying bullet takes his Quirk; he fights on without it. Overhaul fuses with a subordinate, and Nighteye is mortally wounded holding him off. Eri's Rewind Quirk then lets Izuku use One For All at full power, healing each injury as it happens, and he defeats Overhaul. Aizawa erases Eri's Quirk to save Izuku. On the road to prison the League ambushes the convoy, destroys Overhaul's arms and takes four of the bullets. Nighteye dies in hospital.
