Hosu City Incident
Three students against the Hero Killer in the back streets of Hosu.
The Hosu City Incident takes place in My Hero Academia during the students' first internships. The "Hero Killer" Stain has attacked and maimed the Pro Hero Ingenium, the older brother of Tenya Ida, and Ida picks the agency of the hero Manual in Hosu City so that he can track Stain down. Stain, meanwhile, has turned down a partnership with the League of Villains.
Lore & Background
Tomura Shigaraki releases three Nomu into Hosu City while Stain resumes his hunt. Izuku Midoriya, on his way through with Gran Torino, runs off to look for Ida and sends a text to Shoto Todoroki. The two reach Ida just as he has been immobilised by Stain's Quirk, Bloodcurdle. While Endeavor, Gran Torino and Manual deal with the Nomu, Ida joins Izuku and Shoto, and together they defeat Stain.
Reader's Guide
Even beaten, Stain stays conscious long enough to save Izuku from a winged Nomu, calling him an ideal hero and ranting against society's "fake heroes". He is arrested. The credit for his capture goes to Endeavor, so that the three students are not arrested for using their Quirks without permission. A video of Stain's rant goes viral, and the League of Villains uses his reputation to recruit new members.
