Final Exams Arc
Class 1-A against its own teachers, before the summer camp.
The Final Exams Arc is the part of My Hero Academia in which Class 1-A takes its first-term final exams. The practical test pits the students, in pairs, against their own teachers: to pass, a team must either defeat its teacher or escape. It comes after the Hero Agency internships and before the summer training camp.
Lore & Background
Momo Yaoyorozu, shaken since her loss to Tokoyami at the Sports Festival, regains her confidence when she and Shoto Todoroki beat Shota Aizawa. Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo are forced to work together against All Might, who plays the villain more ruthlessly than any other teacher, and they win. Ochaco Uraraka and Yuga Aoyama get past Thirteen, Tenya Ida and Mashirao Ojiro face Power Loader, and Minoru Mineta outwits Midnight after she quickly takes out Hanta Sero.
Reader's Guide
Five students fail: Eijiro Kirishima, Rikido Sato, Mina Ashido, Denki Kaminari and Hanta Sero, who are set to take remedial courses. Afterwards the class goes shopping for the summer camp, where Tomura Shigaraki confronts Izuku, and Ochaco begins to notice her feelings for him.
