Oceanside

A community of women with hidden guns and a long memory.

Oceanside is a coastal community of women whose men were massacred by the Saviors: the Saviors killed all of its males over the age of ten. Tara Chambler had found it and kept it secret, until she led Rick there to obtain its guns.

Lore & Background

In the episode "Something They Need", Rick's group, Jesus among them, goes to Oceanside intending to take its weapons for the war against the Saviors, and Oceanside later fights in the last battle against the Saviors alongside Alexandria, the Kingdom and the Hilltop. After the war, the women of Oceanside hunt down the surviving Saviors who took part in the massacre; Maggie and Daryl catch them as they are about to execute Arat, and the women say that Maggie's execution of Gregory inspired them.
