The Whisperer War

The conflict between the communities and the Whisperers.

The Whisperer War is the conflict between the allied communities and the Whisperers, the group led by Alpha that wears the skins of walkers. During it Negan escapes his cell and joins the Whisperers, winning Alpha's trust.

Lore & Background

Acting under Carol's orders, Negan kills Alpha. Beta takes over the Whisperers, but he and the herd are defeated by the survivors. Negan's bond with Alpha's daughter Lydia also forms during the war.
