Reader's Guide

Daryl, Michonne, Carol and Yumiko are surrounded by Whisperers and taken captive. At dawn Alpha leads Daryl to a cliff above a gargantuan horde and tells him she has marked the extent of Whisperer lands: if his people cross the line again, she will release the horde on them. Alpha has murdered Henry, Tara, Enid and several other residents of the communities to punish them for entering her territory.
