Villain Factory Experiments

All For One's drug-pushing villain group from the prequel Vigilantes.

The Villain Factory is a villain group created by All For One that appears in the prequel manga My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, separate from the League of Villains. It distributes Quirk-enhancing drugs and turns innocent people into "Instant Villains".

Lore & Background

Its tool is the drug Trigger, which makes a user's Quirk grow enormously in power at the cost of some mental control. In Naruhata, doses are handed out for free by unknown individuals, among them a "Scarred Man", and the people who take them go on rampages. A villain with the Quirk Queen Bee spreads the drug through a swarm of bees and creates a whole horde of Instant Villains.

Reader's Guide

The Scarred Man is Number 6 (Rokuro Nomura), the main antagonist of Vigilantes. All For One gave him five Quirks, including Overclock, which had been stolen from the former hero O'Clock, the vigilante Knuckleduster. Number 6 turns Kazuho Haneyama, the vigilante Pop Step, into a second Queen Bee and becomes the rival of Koichi Haimawari, the Crawler; in the finale he blows himself up. Vigilantes also shows that the current version of the Nomu was developed in this period.
