U.A. High School History
From the USJ attack to the refuge of the final war: U.A. across the story.
U.A. High School, the top-ranked hero academy of My Hero Academia, changes a great deal over the course of the story. The school nurse Recovery Girl has worked there for more than forty years, and the Pro Hero Thirteen built its rescue-training facility, the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. All Might joins the staff at Principal Nezu's suggestion, as a way to look for a successor.
Lore & Background
In Izuku Midoriya's first year the League of Villains attacks a class at the Unforeseen Simulation Joint. The school then holds its televised Sports Festival, in which students of every course compete, starting with an obstacle race. After the summer training camp is ambushed and All Might retires, U.A. suspects a traitor among its people and moves the students into newly built dorms.
Reader's Guide
After the Paranormal Liberation War hero society collapses, and U.A. is turned into an evacuation facility that shelters civilians; Shiketsu High School helps to provide security. The traitor proves to be the coerced student Yuga Aoyama. Part of the final battle against Shigaraki is fought at U.A. itself. Afterwards the students return, the third-years hold their graduation, and eight years later Izuku Midoriya is teaching at the school.
