Background
Shinya Kamihara, hero name Edgeshot, leads the team; his Quirk Foldabody lets him control the thinness of his body, so he can move quickly, slip through tight spaces and pierce targets by folding himself into sharp shapes. Befitting a shinobi, Edgeshot is calm and focused, keeping a level head even in crisis situations and consoling his teammates when they begin to panic. Intelligent and good at analysing situations and formulating strategies, he discerned the nature of All For One's warping Quirk after seeing it in action only once. To assist All Might, he and Endeavor even took on All For One. He also recurs in the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes spin-off, where Makoto Tsukauchi invites him to Captain Celebrity's farewell show at the Tokyo Sky Egg.
Shinji Nishiya, hero name Kamui Woods, manipulates his tree-like limbs with his Quirk Arbor. He had a very dark childhood, said to have been portrayed in a popular documentary, and while he is serious and focused about hero work he is easily depressed when someone else takes credit for his deeds; when Edgeshot invited him to join The Lurkers he cried with happiness for two hours.
Yu Takeyama, hero name Mt. Lady, is the team's only female member and grows to a gigantic height with her Quirk Gigantification. Horikoshi first conceived her as the female lead before replacing her with Ochaco, and her original design, built from Ochaco's prototype, later went to Class 1-B's Yui Kodai. In the 10th manga volume she opens her own Hero Agency at a young age, but her Quirk keeps causing unintentional destruction to the city, so she works hard to pay reparations only to wreck something again. Her hard work is also what brought her to the Hideout Raid Team. During Minoru Mineta's internship she appears very lazy, forcing him to work instead of teaching him. She has a lecherous side too, seen when she takes an interest in Shoto Todoroki, and she relishes the media attention her heroics bring while taking her work seriously when it counts.
