Playful and flirtatious, she also has a serious, short-tempered side and is touchy about her age. During the Sports Festival tournament she accepts Mashirao Ojiro and Nirengeki Shoda's withdrawals, and in the first-term final exams she is impressed by Minoru Mineta's tactical thinking. She also appears in the Vigilantes spin-off, where she becomes close friends with Kazuho Haneyama, Pop Step. Midnight is killed in the Paranormal Liberation War while trying to stop Gigantomachia.
