In Their Own Story

Four years later in *Dominion*, fourteen-year-old Maisie lives in seclusion in the Sierra Nevada, taking secret bicycle trips to town while concealing her face. After Blue arrives with a hatchling named Beta, both are kidnapped by Biosyn mercenaries. At headquarters in Italy, Wu shows her videos of Charlotte and reveals the full truth of her birth. Reuniting with Owen and Claire, she helps rescue Beta and convinces them to let Wu study her DNA to solve the locust crisis threatening the food supply.
