Lex Murphy

Alexis "Lex" Murphy is Tim Murphy's sister and John Hammond's granddaughter. She appears in the novel and film Jurassic Park and in The Lost World film, played by Ariana Richards.

In the novel she is seven or eight, outgoing and blonde, a sporty girl who loves baseball and carries her glove and cap almost everywhere. She complains a lot, which annoys the people around her and puts the group in danger, and she shares some of her grandfather's carelessness, though she is not malicious. The Lost World says she is starting college-preparatory school.
