Lore & Background
The doomsday cult Humarise, led by Flect Turn, believes Quirks will eventually wipe out humanity, so it plants bombs worldwide filled with Trigger gas, which drives a Quirk out of control until its user dies. After the first bomb goes off, the World Heroes Association sends Pro Heroes and U.A. students to the cult's targets. Izuku, Katsuki and Shoto go to the supposed headquarters in Otheon, where Izuku chases Rody Soul, a street kid working as a courier to support his younger siblings. Critics praised the animation and plot but faulted the character development.
