All Might's Retirement Speech
"It's your turn": how the Symbol of Peace steps down.
All Might's retirement in My Hero Academia follows his battle with All For One in Kamino Ward, which the whole world watches. He wins, but he spends the last embers of One For All to do it. He then makes a final declaration, "it's your turn", a message about the next Symbol of Peace that Izuku Midoriya understands is meant for him.
Lore & Background
After the battle All Might retires. The police hold a closed conference about the risk that his absence will draw more villains to Shigaraki's League, and that fear proves right: public unease about Endeavor taking his place comes with a surge in villain activity. All Might sends a downcast Izuku a text asking him to come to the beach where he trained for the entrance exam, and the two share a heartfelt moment there.
Reader's Guide
All Might stays at U.A. as a teacher and devotes himself to raising Izuku to take his place. Katsuki Bakugo, whose kidnapping led to the fight, blames himself for the retirement until All Might tells him he should not. Endeavor inherits the number one spot, and U.A. moves its students into dorms.
