The Forest Training Camp Invasion is the attack on the U.A. summer camp in My Hero Academia. A group of League of Villains recruits calling itself the Vanguard Action Squad strikes while the students of Class 1-A and Class 1-B are out in the woods on a training exercise, and catches them unaware. Part of the forest burns, and part of it fills with poisonous gas.
Lore & Background
The villains split up to go after different groups of students and teachers. Muscular corners the boy Kota at his hiding place above the burning forest; Izuku Midoriya fights him to his limit and brings him down, and Muscular lets slip that the League is after Katsuki Bakugo. Clones of Dabi made by Twice attack the remedial class and are destroyed by Shota Aizawa and Vlad King. Tetsutetsu refuses to retreat and goes after the gas user Mustard with Itsuka Kendo.
Reader's Guide
A Nomu sent with Dabi chases Yosetsu Awase of Class 1-B as he carries the badly hurt Momo Yaoyorozu. Dabi calls it back once the mission is done, but not before Momo has made a tracking device and Awase has stuck it on the creature. Mr. Compress takes Bakugo and Fumikage Tokoyami; with Yuga Aoyama's help the students free Tokoyami, and the villains leave with Bakugo. In the days after, U.A. faces a serious public backlash while the police follow the lead to the League's hideout.
