Alluka Zoldyck is a member of the famous Zoldyck assassin family. While most characters in the Hunter × Hunter universe possess superhuman strength or supernatural abilities due to Nen, Alluka possesses special abilities that are distinct from standard Nen control. She is introduced as Killua's sibling, whose unique powers become crucial later in the story. Alluka is a dark child with the ability to grant wishes and a second personality, which Killua named Nanika.

Within the narrative of the Chimera Ant arc, after Gon Freecss is left in a dying state following his confrontation with Neferpitou and subsequent transformation, it is Alluka who intervenes. Using her special abilities, she is able to heal the dying Gon completely. Killua uses Alluka's abilities to heal the dying Gon.
