Chairman Election Arc

After the election, Netero's son Beyond organizes an expedition to the Dark Continent, backed by the Kingdom of Kakin.

Lore & Background

In the world of Hunter × Hunter, Hunters are licensed elite members capable of accessing restricted locations and tracking rare treasures or individuals. The Hunter Association runs a rigorous annual examination with a success rate of less than one in a hundred-thousand. A Hunter may be awarded up to three stars based on remarkable achievements or official positions. Users can enter Contracts with Limitations to strengthen abilities. Following the Chimera Ant crisis, where President Netero defeated King Meruem via suicide bomb, the Association faces a leadership vacuum. The Zodiacs (with Ging Freecss having resigned prior to the arc) seek a new chairman. This period transitions into an expedition to the forbidden Dark Continent organized by Beyond Netero, backed by the Kingdom of Kakin. Major world powers permit this under strict oversight by the Zodiacs.
