Background
Their leader is Jed, once Isaac Netero's friend and head of Shadow, the Hunter Association's secret black-ops unit. Netero had destroyed Shadow after its members turned to On, a cursed power driven by hatred and the opposite of Nen.
Jed and his followers want the Association to make public the Black Report, a record of the wrongs done to Shadow's descendants. Gon and Killua fight their way up the tower while Kurapika and Leorio deal with the other attackers, and Netero chooses to absorb Jed's blows rather than strike back.
In the end Gon cleanses the On inside Jed with his own Nen, and Jed is able to die at peace. The film was announced by a teaser at the end of Phantom Rouge, and Yuzu again sang its theme, "Hyōri Ittai".
