Satotz

First-stage Hunter Exam examiner who leads the candidates on an endless marathon.

Satotz is the first examiner of the first Hunter Exam shown in Hunter × Hunter. He tests the candidates' stamina by leading them on a run of unknown length through a tunnel and then a swamp full of uniquely dangerous creatures. He became a Hunter because Gon's father Ging inspired him. Satotz placed seventh and 22nd in the series' first two popularity polls.
