Thresh
District 11's male tribute, who spared Katniss for Rue's sake.
Thresh is the male tribute from District 11 in the 74th Hunger Games. When Clove attacks Katniss and gloats over Rue's death, Thresh kills Clove and lets Katniss go because of what she did for Rue. He is later killed, by Cato in the novel and by the Mutts in the film. In Catching Fire, Peeta pledges part of his winnings to the families of Rue and Thresh.
