Star Squad

Squad 451, the sharpshooting unit sent into the Capitol in Mockingjay.

The Star Squad, Squad 451, is the sharpshooting team formed in Mockingjay for the final mission into the Capitol in the last stage of the rebellion. Katniss, Gale and Finnick are assigned to it, with Boggs in command and Jackson as his second; Finnick joins for its final mission, and Katniss's bodyguard from District 13 is also placed in the squad.

Background

The District 13 sisters Leeg 1 and Leeg 2 are put in the squad to assist Katniss; Leeg 2 is the first to die, four days after the squad reaches the Capitol. Mitchell, Jackson and Homes are all killed in the war, and Jackson and Leeg 1 stay behind to hold off the wolf mutations, presumably dying there.
