Silka Sharp
The District 1 Career of the 50th Hunger Games who nearly disemboweled Haymitch before the forcefield killed her.
Silka Sharp came out of District 1 as one of its reaped girls for the 50th Hunger Games. A Career through and through, she treated the non-Career districts with hostility, and a jab from Maysilee about her fashion choices started a rivalry between the two.

Background
Built bigger and stronger than most of the boys in the field, Silka turned out to be among the deadliest tributes of those Games: the bloodbath saw her kill many of the Newcomers, and she came through both the arena's hostile conditions and its volcano eruption. When Maritte, the last and closest of her allies, died, Haymitch watched from a tree as she wept, handed her a piece of chocolate, and she ran off.
The day after, with Haymitch away gathering firewood for Wellie, his one remaining ally, Silka took Wellie's head with her axe while claiming self-defense, then fought Haymitch in a duel that left both of them badly hurt. She nearly disembowels him before he tricks her into throwing her axe at the arena's forcefield, which results in her death. Katniss and Peeta later watch a heavily edited cut of her death in Catching Fire while studying past Games before the 75th.
