Cato

Cato is a male tribute from District 2 in the 74th Hunger Games. He is a Career tribute, trained from childhood to volunteer for the Games and fight to the death. In the arena, he becomes the primary physical threat to Katniss and Peeta, leading the Career pack that hunts the other tributes. He was skilled with many weapons and scored a 10 in his private training session. In the climax, Cato is forced off the Cornucopia and mauled by the wolf mutts, and Katniss puts him out of his misery. This breaks his spirit, and Katniss kills him with an arrow to put him out of his misery as he is being eaten by the muttations.
