The Metacortex Building is the workplace of Thomas Anderson, a computer programmer known as Neo, in the 1999 simulated reality of the Matrix. It is the setting where Neo is pursued by Agents led by Agent Smith, and where Morpheus guides him by phone before Neo ultimately surrenders.
