Train Station

The Train Station of The Matrix Revolutions is the Mobil Avenue subway station, a transition zone between the Matrix and the machine world where Neo's consciousness is trapped. It is a separate world that can only be entered or left by subway train, and Neo's powers do not extend there.

Lore & Background

The station is controlled by the Trainman, an exiled program in the employ of the Merovingian who smuggles programs from the machine world into the Matrix; he refuses to let Neo board a train and overpowers him. To free Neo, Morpheus, Trinity and Seraph confront the Merovingian at Club Hel, where Persephone warns her husband that Trinity would kill everyone in the club to free Neo, simply because she is in love.
