Lore & Background
The rebels use it to broadcast crew members' minds into the Matrix through pirate signals, entering and leaving wherever a phone line can be reached, while the operator, Tank and later Link, stays behind sending navigational data and hacking programs. It carries an EMP against the flying Sentinels. Inside it resembles a submarine of raw steel with cramped sleeping quarters, and the only food is a nutrient-rich goop. A Sentinel's bomb destroys it near the end of The Matrix Reloaded.
