Lore & Background

Spinner wants to change a society that judged him by his appearance, and he believes heroes are corrupt. He still has a moral line: he is shocked to learn that Tomura means to destroy society rather than remake it, and he questions moves like the attack on a police convoy to get back at Overhaul. During the Paranormal Liberation War he helps wake an unconscious Tomura by giving him a hand mask. Facing Mezo Shoji, he turns out to have been given two extra Quirks, Body Bulk and Scalemail, which cost him his higher functions, and Mezo ends the heteromorph riot peacefully. Izuku later passes Tomura's last words to him; in the epilogue a doctor says the extra Quirks are slowly turning Spinner into a Nomu, and he decides to write about Tomura's legacy.
