Frost
Sub-Zero's arrogant apprentice who also controls ice.
Frost is a Lin Kuei warrior who can control ice. She debuted in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, trained directly by Sub-Zero because of their similar powers, though her skill comes with an arrogant streak.
Lore & Background
Brought along to help fight Quan Chi and Shang Tsung, she steals Sub-Zero's Dragon Medallion and is frozen by her own power. The Unchained port of Deception shows she survived; after she tries to kill Sub-Zero he traps her in ice. Taven frees her in Armageddon's Konquest mode, but she mistakes him for Sub-Zero and attacks him. In Mortal Kombat 11 she has been given cybernetic upgrades and leads the Cyber Lin Kuei for Kronika until Raiden cuts her link to the cyborgs. She returns in Mortal Kombat 1 as a Kameo Fighter.
Reader's Guide
She was the first character Herman Sanchez designed for Deadly Alliance. Den of Geek called her addition 'a nice touch' to Sub-Zero's rebuilding of the Lin Kuei.
