Sektor
The ruthless Lin Kuei cyborg who kills his own grandmaster.
Sektor is a Lin Kuei assassin who agreed to become a cyborg. First appearing in Mortal Kombat 3, he and Cyrax are sent to find and kill Kuai Liang after he leaves the clan.
Lore & Background
In Mortal Kombat Gold he decides the Lin Kuei's grandmaster is inferior and kills him, but Kuai Liang stops him from taking the title, and he flees to Japan to found his own clan of cyborg ninjas. The 2011 reboot makes him a human who eagerly backs the Cyber Lin Kuei plan, captures Kuai Liang for conversion and serves Shao Kahn until Nightwolf beats him. Mortal Kombat X reveals he helped destroy the Shirai Ryu and caused the feud between Kuai Liang and Hanzo Hasashi. In Mortal Kombat 11 a time-displaced Sektor builds a cyborg army for Kronika. Mortal Kombat 1 has the original as a Kameo Fighter and a female Sektor, daughter of the armorer Longwei and Madam Bo, who builds powered suits for Bi-Han's Lin Kuei.
