Kenjaku's nine half-curse fetuses: Choso, Eso and Kechizu, and the brothers who become Yuji's family.

The Cursed Womb: Death Paintings are small human-like fetuses with the mixed blood of a human and a Cursed Spirit, created by Kenjaku 150 years ago by forcing a woman with a special genetic composition through nine pregnancies and nine abortions. When ingested by any human, even one with zero talent, a Death Painting Womb incarnates into a full half-human, half-Cursed Spirit hybrid able to use Jujutsu, considered on the level of a Special-Grade Cursed Spirit.

Background

Because they have flesh-and-blood bodies, these beings can be seen by normal humans, and even sorcerers struggle to tell whether they are Cursed Spirits or Curse Users; unlike Cursed Spirits, their bodies do not disappear after death. Choso, the eldest of the nine, wields Blood Manipulation with enhanced efficiency thanks to his hybrid physiology. Seeking vengeance for his brothers' deaths during the Shibuya Incident, he recognizes Yuji Itadori as his half-brother mid-battle and switches sides, protecting Yuji as a fugitive, helping Yuki Tsukumo defend Tengen and training Yuji in blood-based techniques; in the Shinjuku Showdown he intercepts Sukuna's Divine Flame to save Yuji, completing his arc from vengeful antagonist to caring elder brother.

Eso is the second brother among the Death Paintings; unlike Choso, who looks completely human, he has a grotesque face on his back, so Kugisaki mistook him for a Cursed Spirit or Curse User. His Cursed Technique is the Rot Technique, under which targets decompose in mere minutes once exposed to the poisonous blood of the Death Paintings; Itadori kills him with Kugisaki's help, though he empathizes with the brothers. Kechizu, the third, has turquoise skin, a hunchback, claws and two mouths with jagged teeth, a small face on the upper part of his head and a giant mouth beneath it, all dripping dark blood; Kugisaki kills him on the highway after being poisoned.
