One of the three major sorcerer families, the Kamo Clan is a pillar of the Jujutsu Society's traditional power structure. Alongside the Gojo and Zen'in clans, they form the elite bloc that nominates the Jujutsu Commander, who is then appointed by the Prime Minister. Noritoshi Kamo, a Kyoto Jujutsu High student, inherits the clan's Blood Manipulation technique despite his illegitimate status. The clan's philosophy prioritizes honor and the preservation of ancient customs, often putting them at odds with more progressive elements in the jujutsu world.

The Kamo Clan's legacy is defined by their hereditary Cursed Technique: Blood Manipulation. Noritoshi specializes in blood-guided arrows, and the Death Painting Choso wields the same technique with greater efficiency because of his hybrid physiology. Their history is steeped in a strict hierarchy where worth is measured by one's ability to master these dangerous arts and uphold the family name. During the Culling Game, Kenjaku resumes the identity of the original Noritoshi Kamo, takes control of the clan and exiles the younger Noritoshi.
