A dynasty built on bloodlines that fears nothing more than its own weakness.

The Zen'in Clan is one of the Three Big Sorcerer Families, along with the Gojo and Kamo clans. It recognizes only male members with powerful techniques; everyone else is rejected and not even regarded as human, which is why Toji Fushiguro and Maki Zen'in left it.

Lore & Background

Naobito Zen'in heads the family and wields Projection Sorcery, a technique shared by his son Naoya, who leads the clan's elite unit, the Hei. Men born without an innate technique must join the lower Kukuru unit. The clan's hereditary technique is the Ten Shadows Technique, which Megumi Fushiguro inherited; his father Toji had arranged to sell him to the clan, and Satoru Gojo prevented it.

Reader's Guide

Naobito dies of the wounds he takes in Shibuya, and his will names Megumi as the next head ahead of Naoya. Soon afterwards Ogi Zen'in tries to kill his daughters Maki and Mai; Mai dies, and Maki, who once aspired to lead the clan, kills Ogi, the clan's fighters and Naoya, destroying the Zen'in clan.
