Lore & Background

Quiet, observant and taller than average, she is as loyal to her captain as her sister. Unohana mentions that Isane suffers recurring nightmares, often odd ones, such as a dream that ended with her screaming "fish paste". She cries easily: after the first Wandenreich invasion, and again on finding Unohana's farewell note.

At Rukia's execution she attacks Ichigo and is quickly beaten. She is present when Aizen reveals himself to Hitsugaya and Unohana and spreads the news across Soul Society. In Hueco Mundo she and Unohana heal Chad and Gantenbainne after saving them from the Exequias, and she later backs up Byakuya and Zaraki against the Espada Yammy Llargo.
