Bleach Codexery — Data & Quality

We publish our audit record because accuracy claims should be checkable. Every entry on this site runs through an automated fact-audit pipeline (accuracy audit → source-grounded repair → visual QA); this page is generated from that pipeline's own report, not written by hand.

This is a fiction/fan codex: entries describe an in-universe canon. Our audits check canon and internal consistency — external fact-checking does not apply the way it does on real-subject codexes.

Recent findings (audit lane, verbatim)

Uryu Ishida — Uryu Ishida's anime debut is Episode 4 ('The Unseen Shadow'), not Episode 3.

Uryu Ishida — Antithesis canonically reverses cause and effect or swaps conditions between targets, rather than simply 'reversing damage'.

Gin Ichimaru — Claim that Gin and Rangiku 'both joined Aizen's conspiracy' is incorrect; they were childhood friends in Inuzuri before joining the Gotei 13, but only Gin was part of the conspiracy while Rangiku remained loyal to the Soul Society.

Gin Ichimaru — Description of Shinsō as appearing to grow from the ground is inaccurate regarding canon mechanics; the blade extends and retracts from the hilt held by the user.

Genryusai Yamamoto — Claim that Yamamoto trained Sosuke Aizen and Kisuke Urahara during their early days in the academy is incorrect; he served as their Captain-Commander when they were active Captains, but there is no canon evidence of him personally training them at the Academy.

Sternritter — Sternritter literally translates from German as 'Star Knights', not 'Holy Knights'.

Sternritter — The Sternritter hierarchy is NOT based on alphabetical order; for example, Haschwalth ('W') outranks Askin ('A').

Visored — The entry incorrectly omits Mashiro Kuna from the list of original and core Visored members.

Visored — The entry incorrectly attributes the orchestration of the Hollowfication experiment to Urahara and Yoruichi instead of Aizen, failing to acknowledge that Urahara attempted to stop it and was exiled as a scapegoat.

Xcution — Claim that Rukia had no human classmates in Karakura is incorrect; she attended Karakura High School with Ichigo Kurosaki and others as her classmates.

Soul Society — Souls in Rukongai do not die of 'natural death' to trigger reincarnation; instead, they are reincarnated when their spiritual energy (Reishi) naturally dissipates over time or when a Shinigami performs the Konso ritual.

Soul King — The Bleach manga concludes at Chapter 686; there is no Chapter 687.

Soul King — Yhwach did not slay the Soul King in Chapter 686; the assassination occurred much earlier in the arc (approximately Chapter 546), while Chapter 686 depicts the final battle between Ichigo and Yhwach.
